Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are used to repair damage to the structure of teeth. Structural damage can be caused as a result of tooth decay, wear or trauma. After the removal of a problematic tooth structure, the tooth is restored with composite resin (white filling material) or porcelain. Each type of filling material has its advantages and disadvantages. We will work with you to determine which material is appropriate.

Root Canals

Root canal therapy removes infected pulp tissue within the root chamber of the tooth. The hollowed-out tooth is filled with antibacterial filling material, and the tooth is “capped” with a crown for protection.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is the term used to describe the process of using composite resins to “glue” materials to the surface of a tooth for restorative or cosmetic purposes. Chipped or cracked teeth are typically repaired through bonding. An enamel-like composite material is applied to the surface of a tooth, sculpted into shape, contoured and polished, making the crack or chip invisible.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns can repair extensively decayed or damaged teeth. Dental crowns can be made of zirconia, gold metals, silver metals, porcelain, or a combination of porcelain and metal. In some cases, conservative dental veneers may replace the need for a dental crown.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges replace missing teeth with artificial replacement teeth (pontics). The pontic is held in place by adjacent crowns that are permanently anchored to the surrounding teeth.

Partial & Full Dentures

Dentures are used to replace missing teeth or damaged teeth that cannot be otherwise repaired.

Dental Implants

We are proud to provide our patients with minimally invasive dental implant placement and restoration under one roof. Our highly trained and experienced clinicians use 3D scans to safely and precisely place implants to guarantee a lifelong restoration option that is beautiful and life-like.

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root used in dentistry to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. Virtually all dental implants placed today are root-form endosseous dental implants, which means they look like real teeth and are placed within the bone.

Dental implants can be used to support a number of dental prostheses, including dental crowns, implant-supported bridges, or dentures.

Forni Dental is a certified and preferred Invisalign provider. Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment uses a series of clear, removable teeth aligners that we use as an alternative to traditional metal dental braces. The most obvious advantage of the treatment is cosmetic: the aligners are completely transparent, therefore far more difficult to detect than traditional wire and bracket braces. This makes the method particularly popular among adults who want to straighten their teeth without the look of traditional metal braces, which are commonly worn by children and adolescents.

Additionally, the aligners are marketed as being more comfortable than braces. Due to the removable nature of the device, food can be consumed without the encumbrance of metallic braces. Invisalign treatment is quicker than traditional orthodontics. A typical case of braces last 36 – 96 months, while Invisalign takes between 12 – 18 months.

Dental Hygiene

Dental hygiene, also known as oral hygiene, is the process by which preventative dental care is provided to avoid dental decay, damage, or emergencies. At the core of dental hygiene is the in-home dental care regimen you perform. Your at-home regimen is supplemented with professional preventative dental care provided by dentists and licensed dental hygienists.

While you are responsible for day-to-day dental maintenance, dental hygienists, along with general dentists, family dentists, and cosmetic dentists, play an integral role in preventative oral care. Tooth brushing is fundamentally important, though it alone will not remove the calculus (also called tartar) is hardened dental plaque that builds up over time. Calculus must be removed to lower your risk of toothaches, cavities, periodontal disease, or even the loss of all your teeth. By removing calculus, you can reduce your chances of needing root canals, tooth extractions, dental bridges, dental crowns, and more.

It has been scientifically proven that regular professional dental hygiene visits reduce the prevalence of systemic bacteria that lead to heart and vascular disease, reducing risk of heart attacks by 24% and strokes by 13%.

Want to know a secret? Dentistry does not have to be painful—or scary. It’s important to know that a visit to the dentist can be a positive experience, even when treatment is necessary. Millions of Americans, nearly 30%, are afraid of the dentist. They avoid dental care at all costs, even when they are in pain or discomfort. But it no longer has to be that way. Modern dentistry offers safe, effective, and comfortable treatments to anxious and fearful patients.

Our doctors are D.O.C.S. (Doctors of Conscious Sedation) certified and can provide you with safe minimal sedation dentistry to ensure your comfort, safety, and relaxation.
